How Do You Remove Spray Paint From Stucco?
In the old days, exterior painting projects took quite a bit longer than they do today. Before the advent of electric and gas spray rigs, painters had to brush and roll entire homes. Fortunately, new technology has made painting much faster. However, when it comes to applying paint with a sprayer, overspray can be a real nuisance. When paint overspray finds its way onto the wrong surface, it can be difficult to remove. If you need to remove spray paint from stucco, you’ll need to use care, or you may damage the very surface you are trying to save. Apply olive oil to the spray paint using a rag. Scrape away each bit of spray paint using the pumice stone. Work slowly and meticulously, so as not damage the stucco surface. Move to Step 3 if any spray paint remains. Repeat Step 2, except use 120-grit sandpaper in lieu of pumice stone. Use a razor blade to gently pick away any tiny remaining bits of spray paint.
