Removing the shelf supports is a simple process that only takes a few seconds. Remove any items from the shelf resting on the shelf support(s) you wish to remove. Place your hands under the shelf from below and push upward to lift the shelf off its supports. Then pull the shelf forward and out of the refrigerator. Set it off to the side. Grasp the front edge of the shelf support and push straight up, applying firm pressure. The front edge of support will pivot up several inches, releasing the shelf support from the notches in the rear that hold it in place. Pull the shelf support toward you and out of the refrigerator. To replace the support, simply reverse the previous steps.
