How Do You Remove Set In Ink From Clothes?

0

Ink stains that set into clothing are more difficult to remove than fresh ink stains. Although your best chance at success is to treat ink stains on clothes while they are still fresh, many of the same methods to remove fresh ink stains will effectively get out set-in stains. Don’t throw in the towel on your ink-stained clothes just because the stain has set into the fabric. You may need to try a few different methods to successfully remove the set in ink stain, but take note that it can be done. Saturate the ink stain with rubbing alcohol. Place a few drops of dish soap onto the ink stain and alcohol. Work the mixture into the stain using your fingers. Use a toothbrush to lightly scrub the stain until it has lifted significantly. Wash the clothing as usual in the washer. Repeat the process, if necessary, to remove the remainder of the ink stain. Avoid drying the clothing until all of the ink has been removed. Apply a generous amount of toothpaste to the ink stain. Use plain, white too
