How Do You Remove Scratches In Slate Floor Tile?
Slate needs to be stripped back and resealed, just like wooden boards. This will remove the scratches and bring the slate up like brand new. It’s meant to be done every year or two. You can DIY or pay a contractor. I did read once to give it a new lease of life to use a floor wax. Personally I didn’t find it helped much but my floor is past that point, maybe that’s more of a maintenance thing .I need resealing. Also some vacuum cleaners cause scratching.
