How Do You Remove Rust Stains From Dacron?

Given its usage, Dacron used outdoors is often in contact with metal, such as clamps, rings, and poles, and can acquire rust from those metal items. But with a little time and a large flat area, you can remove rust stains from Dacron. Lay the Dacron on a flat outdoor surface, such as a parking lot or driveway, with the rust stains facing up. If it is windy, set heavy objects on each corner of the Dacron to keep it in place. Pour 1/2 cup of mild detergent or soap into a gallon bucket and fill the remainder of the bucket with cool water.
