First, consider the color of the fabric. White and light fabrics are actually easier to treat, and you can use natural products to clean them. If you have colored fabrics, skip right to step 4 where chemical methods are introduced. If your fabric is light, you can use lemon juice and salt to remove the stain. First, drench the stain in lemon juice, then rub sea salt into the stain, as if you are exfoliating. Lay the clothing out to dry. When only slightly damp, wash as usual.
