How Do You Remove Rust Stain From Cotton Fabric?
Rust stains are some of the most unsightly stains to grace cotton fabric. The stains are particularly intimidating for anyone stuck with far too many loads of laundry and little time. This can lead one to put off or simply give up on their removal. Many people don’t realize that salvaging the cotton fabric isn’t as impossible as it seems. Rub half of a lemon or a small quantity of undiluted white vinegar onto the stain. Work a quantity of salt into the stain in addition to the lemon juice or vinegar. Allow the fabric to dry in the sun. Repeat if necessary. Once you have removed the stain, launder the fabric as you normally would.
