Follow these tips to clean up a red ink spill in the clothes dryer. Shut off and unplug the dryer, and allow it to cool. While it is cooling, use a stain stick or hair spray to quickly remove the ink from any clothing. Check all pockets for additional ink pens, and wash the clothes again. Wet sponge the marks in the dryer to see if the ink wipes away. If not, lightly wet the “eraser” type sponge, and rub the marks. In stubborn stain situations, use this method in combination with an orange cleaner as the orange oil and citric acid should help pull up more ink without damaging the inside of the dryer. Wipe away the excess water, and spray with the wet and dry sponges and paper towels. If all else fails, spray hairspray on the mark, and repeat Step 2. This method should work to pull up the stain.
