How do you remove rear break drum 2002 ford taurus?
Answer Remove tire. Remove the clips that are on the lug bolts at the drum. If you break them that is okay they are exactly necessary. The drum should come off. If not then open up the auto-adjuster access in the back of the drum. If is under a rubber rectagular piece. Pull this out. Now use a flat headed screw driver to rotate the adjusting screw up or down. (I never can remember which way is which.) This will back the brake shoes off of the drum so that you can rmove it. It doenst take much. Thats it. Good luck.
