How do you remove radio from 2009 Toyota corolla?
It’s actually quite simple. All the trim around the radio section just pops out with a small flat screw driver. Start at the bottom near the gear shifter and work up. I believe there are three sections on each side. I used a cloth over the tip to prevent scratching. Once you get the trim pieces out a little you can pull them the rest of the way out. There are only four bolts holding the actual radio in. This was in a 2009 Corolla Automatic and not the sport edition. It only has 4 speakers and no satellite radio options so perhaps some configurations are a little different. All in all, though, I have to say that Toyota is one of the easiest I have EVER worked on. They did a tremendous job on their trim for the end user. I had a buddy of mine who owns a Toyota Tundra help me and he showed me how easy it was to remove the trim.
