Although there are quicker ways to remove paint from bricks, such as sandblasting, this method is the least likely to damage the bricks. Clean the bricks of any dirt or cobwebs with hot, soapy water and a bristle brush, then let dry completely. Purchase a gel or paste paint remover. Follow the directions on the package to mix it up, then generously apply it to the bricks using a paintbrush. Dab it thickly onto the bricks. Place pieces of old material over the remover. The paste will stick to the paint and the fabric. Leave the fabric on the remover long enough for the fabric to stick to the remover usually about
