How Do You Remove Paint From Glass Windows?
Paint can be quite difficult to remove, as you can’t just scrub it away with soap and water. With the right materials and know how, removing paint from glass windows is a simple task that won’t take much time or effort. Heat a bowl of vinegar in the microwave or a saucepan until it is hot. Dip a clean, soft cloth into the hot vinegar and saturate the paint stain with it. Allow the vinegar to sit on the paint for two-to-three minutes to soften the paint. Apply more vinegar to the paint to act as a lubricant. Scrape the paint away gently with a razor blade. Make long smooth strokes with the razor. Apply more vinegar, as necessary, to avoid scratching the window. Remove any residual paint and vinegar from the window by wiping the area clean with a soft, dry cloth.
