Unwanted paint on concrete can present a big problem. Not only is paint frequently difficult to remove; concrete is a problematic surface for any project. Fortunately, there are some innovative products that can help you effectively remove unwanted paint from your concrete blocks. Depending on the type of paint and number of layers present, you may use one or several of the following steps in the process of getting your concrete clean again. Begin with the least hazardous substance–soy based paint remover. This product comes in a thick gel that can be spread over the paint. Leave the gel to sit for 20 minutes or more. Using your scraper, remove the gel from this area and reapply over the next area of concrete. Repeat step one until the gel no longer removes the paint.
