How Do You Remove Old Coffee Stains From Clothes?
Many articles of clothing have been thrown away or placed in the rag bag as a result of a coffee stain. Coffee stains soak in fast and, if not attended to immediately, can be difficult to remove. If the article of clothing has been washed and dried the stain sets further, but there’s still hope for removing the stain. Use supplies from the home to remove old coffee stains. Measure 1 tsp. of white vinegar and pour into the 1-qt. container. Fill with cold water. Dip a sponge into the diluted vinegar and squeeze out the excess liquid. Blot at the coffee stain. Rinse the sponge out and continue to dip it into the vinegar solution, then blot and wipe at the stain. Sprinkle a little baking soda on the coffee stain if it’s persistent. Dampen a clean towel and use the towel to rub the baking soda into the coffee stain. Launder the article of clothing according to the directions on the care label.
