If you have ever gotten oil on your suede shoes, jacket, suede furniture or any other suede you have, you know how unsightly the stain is. It can be used safely on all suede. Apply cornmeal to the oil stain. Cornmeal can be purchased in a grocery store. Use a clean, white rag to rub the cornmeal in circles. Begin just beyond the outside edge of the oil stain and work towards the middle of the stain. Allow the cornmeal to sit for a minute or 2 on top of the oil stain.
