How Do You Remove Mud Stains From Clothing?
Sometimes you just can’t avoid getting mud on your clothing, especially during wet or wintry weather. And kids–well, they seem to go out of their way to get muddy. However, a little elbow grease and the right laundry products will give you a good chance of removing those pesky mud stains from your clothing. Remove the stained article of clothing and hang it up, allowing the mud stain to dry. Use a hand-held vacuum to go over the mud stain once it’s dried. First, shake the article of clothing to eject as much of the dry mud as possible. Then, suck up whatever other loose mud can be removed using the vacuum. Fill a laundry tub or a sink with water. Apply a commercial laundry stain removal product, or enough liquid detergent to cover the mud stain fully. Let the detergent soak into the fabric for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Place the soiled article of clothing into the laundry tub or sink. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a laundry brush or your fingers to scrub the mud stains out fro
