How do you remove mould using household ingredients off bath toys?
Soak them in white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide. If they have holes, squeeze the toys so that they end up being filled as well, and let them sit for about an hour. Wipe with a paper towel, and repeat if necessary.. If they have holes, squeeze and repeat til nothing nasty’s coming out. You can also try soaking in a full sink of hot water, and adding 2tbsp of bleach, then rinsing like it’s going out of style. White vinegar is best though, especially if the toys are for a younger child who will place things in the mouth. If they’re cheap, I’d probably just toss them and buy another batch. I put my son’s toys in the dish draining rack now b/c there’s lousy ventilation in the bathroom and it seem like they never dry. It’s helped a lot.
