How Do You Remove Moles From A Lawn?
If you see raised mounds of soil in your lawn, you may have moles. Moles rarely come to the surface. Mostly they tunnel their way through the ground. Moles feed on worms and insects. They don’t feed on plants. They’re just a nuisance. You can get rid of moles, but not with bubble gum or vibrating sticks. It takes some time and tools. Step 1 Determine if trapping moles is legal in your state by checking your local wildlife laws. Most states, except for Washington and Massachusetts, allow moles to be trapped. Step 2 Purchase some traps at your local hardware or home supply store to remove moles from your lawn. A couple examples are the Victor Plunger Style Mole Trap and the Victor Out O’Sight Mole Trap (see Resources). Step 3 Place one or more mole traps in your yard. Basically, a trap is set by using levers. It’s then placed in an active mole tunnel and covered up with dirt. When a mole travels along the already-made tunnel, it sets off the trap. The steel jaws of the trap catch and kil
