To take the mildew smell out of washable clothing, try adding 2 cups of white vinegar in with your clothes during the rinse cycle. Try adding lots of baking soda along with soap in the wash cycle and doing an extra rinse cycle. For leather, try spraying with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water, but test on a small area first to make sure it doesn’t leave a mark.
