How Do You Remove Melted Wax From A Glass Candle Holder?

0

If you love candles, but hate the leftover wax they create, this article will be a must read. If your favorite glass candle holder has a small amount of melted wax in it and you’d like to put in a new, fresh candle, follow these tips to remove the old melted candle residue. Step 1 First, put the glass candle holder in your freezer. The chilled wax will actually reduce the size of the candle. Set a timer for at least 10 minutes, however, you can leave the candle in your freezer for a longer period of time. Step 2 Next, remove the glass holder from the freezer and run a small, sharp knife around the inside perimeter of the glass holder. This should loosen the entire candle and it should pop out easily. Step 3 Once the candle is out of the holder, take your knife and scrape around the inside of the glass container to loosen any small bits of wax. If needed, run hot water inside the glass holder so that the entire container is clean.
