How Do You Remove Melted Crayon Stain?
Crayon stains are common in households with small children. Some of the worst stains happen when the crayon is left in clothing that has been run through a clothes dryer. The heat from the dryer melts the wax in the crayon, leaving a mess on the fabric. Although the clothing may seem ruined, there is a way to remove the melted crayon stain and return the clothing to wearable condition. Place the blade of a dull knife, such as a butter knife against the melted crayon stain and scrape off as much of the crayon from the surface of the fabric as possible. Lay a paper towel on a flat surface and then turn the fabric upside down on the paper towel so that the stain is against it. Spray the back of the melted crayon stain thoroughly with a spray lubricant that is designed to loosen stuck locks and metal. Allow the material to sit undisturbed for five minutes. Place one tsp. of liquid laundry detergent on the back of the stain and work it into the fabric using your hands to rub the fabric toge
