How Do You Remove Mastic From Ceramic Tile?
Sometimes during the installation process, excess mastic may get left on the surface of the tile. This is nothing to worry about, as removing mastic is a simple procedure that can be done within a few minutes using nothing more than warm water and a sponge. Step 1 Use warm water and a sponge and dampen the mastic. Step 2 Let sit for a few minutes. Using the sponge, gently scrub the mastic until it comes off. Step 3 Let the area dry for a few minutes. Check to ensure all the mastic is removed. If it is not, simply repeat the process until all the mastic has been removed.
