How Do You Remove Make-Up Stains From Clothes?
Getting rid of make-up stains on clothes can be difficult. There is a way to remove the stains without ruining your clothing. Make-up should be removable as long as you do not put the garment in your dryer. If you put stained clothing in your dryer, you are heat setting the stain which will make it virtuously impossible to remove. Place the item which the stain facing down on 3 to 4 sheets of white paper towels. Use a clean, white, wet rag to blot the stain from the opposite side. Move your garment frequently as the make-up transfers to the paper towel. Continue to blot at the stain until the make-up no longer transfers to the paper towels. Change the paper towels as necessary. Run plain, warm water through your stain, still working from the side opposite of the make-up. Use a pure, white soap such as Ivory.
