How Do You Remove Legacy Audio Drivers?
If you’ve recently installed a new sound card in your computer, you may be left with old Legacy audio drivers that your machine no longer needs. Removing these drivers from your system is quick and easy, but if the drivers were preinstalled on the computer when you bought it, they typically will not allow themselves to be removed until a suitable replacement has been fully installed. Step 1 Install the drivers for the newly installed sound card. Windows will typically prompt the user to install these as soon as it detects the new card, so you may have already done this.
