Set down your brush immediately. Avoid smearing the latex paint with a cloth as this can cause the paint to work its way deeper into the fibers. Use your fingers, instead, to gently collect as much latex paint as possible. Fill a bowl full of warm, soapy water. Use a rag to scrub the cotton fabric repeatedly.
