J Walk ActiveX Client Plugin is developed by Seagull Software, a Rocket Software brand. J Walk plugins are used by developers to create GUI applications. GUI stands for graphical user interface. Instead of command lines, application users see icons and graphics. This creates user-friendly and easy-to-understand web applications. J Walk is installed on a web user’s computer through ActiveX, which is a series of Internet Explorer supported components. J Walk can be removed through Internet Explorer by the web user at any time. Open up a new Internet Explorer web browser window. Click on the “Tools” menu and select “Internet Options.” Click on the “Programs” tab and select “Manage add-ons.” A new window will open. Click on the “Toolbars and Extensions” icon. A menu on the right side will display currently installed plugins. Right-click on the “J Walk ActiveX Client Control” plugin. The publishers listed will be Seagull Software or Rocket Software. Click on “Disable” to remove the plugin.
