Internet Explorer 6 is a web browser developed by Microsoft. IE6, as it is commonly referred to, was included in the Windows XP operating system as the default web browser. Uninstalling IE6 is a fairly simple and quick task if you currently prefer to use other web browsers. This process removes its operating functions and setups to prevent it from being the default web browser on your system. Close Internet Explorer 6 if it is currently running. Double click “My Computer” on your desktop and double click the C: drive. Double click “Progam Files” and double click the “Internet Explorer” folder.
