The liquid inside an inkjet ink cartridge sometimes spills out when the plastic strip covering the ink head is removed before you install it in the printer. No matter how you spilled the ink onto your carpet, though, you might think it’s impossible to remove, at least by yourself. Before you call in professional cleaners or strategically place your furniture to hide the spill, however, try removing it yourself, but get to it quickly to increase your chances of removing the stain completely. Scoop up as much of the ink with a plastic spoon, knife or other object and carefully throw it out. Try not to rub the ink further into the carpet.
