How Do You Remove Ink Marks From Fabric?
Have you ever had those irritating pen markings on pants or shirts at the pocket area? Or after taking notes, have you ever forgotten to lid the pen or click the ball-pointed type–then accidentally marked on your clothing? Maybe I’m clumsy, but this has happened to me more than once! Not to fear: There is a very simple solution for getting rid of those annoying, before seemingly-impossible stains. Here goes! First, generously spray the stained fabric area with non-aerosol pump type hairspray. The cheap kind works just fine. Allow the fabric to sit, soaking for a few minutes. (I usually leave it on the dryer for about five minutes as I prepare to wash my next load; as the water is running into the washer.) Following your fabric’s washing directions, add your clothing item to your ready load and wash as per your regular washing instructions. And voila! Your stain should be gone upon completion of the load! Simple, eh?
