How Do You Remove Ink From Furniture?
Furniture is frequently subject to stains because it is used so frequently by many family members. A pen or marker can fall onto the furniture, a cap can come off of a pen, or a child can get hold of a pen and use the furniture as a drawing board. Removing the ink stain takes a bit of time, but can be completed with ease when you use the right ingredients. Spray aerosol hairspray directly onto the ink stain, saturating the area. Let sit for 10 seconds. Scrub the stain with a toothbrush, blotting with an old cloth after every few scrubs to collect the ink residue. Repeat until all of the ink has been removed. Moisten an old cloth with cold water, and wipe over the furniture. This will remove any remaining ink or hairspray residue, restoring your furniture back to its pre-stained condition.
