How Do You Remove Ink From Cotton?
Cotton is undoubtedly used more often in clothing than any other fabric materials, making it more likely for you to spill on or stain cotton clothing. This includes ink stains from pens. It is relatively easy to place a pen in a pocket, only to realize later the cap wasn’t on. Luckily, it isn’t necessary to purchase a new outfit as the ink stain can be removed. Avoid putting the shirt (or other type of clothing) in the washer. Once the material is washed the ink may be cleaned right into the fabric, making it permanent, or at least much harder to remove. Insert a rag into the piece of clothing, underneath the ink stain. Some of the ink may bleed while cleaning it and the last thing you need is for the ink to spread to the other side of the clothing.
