How Do You Remove Ice Cubes From A Tray?
Grab the tray, cubes facing up, with one hand on either end. Twist the tray counterclockwise with one hand and clockwise with the other, as if you were trying to warp the tray – be careful not to actually warp it. The cubes should pop out easily (sometimes a bit too easily, be careful to not drop them). Run hot water over the back of the ice tray. This will melt the layer binding the ice to the tray, and shrink the ice slightly. They will fall out easily or with a slight twist of the tray. Try placing a colander underneath to catch the cubes that do fall out.
