How Do You Remove Hot Glue From Clothing?
Hot glue guns can be great…except when they cause casualties. That’s right! A hot glue gun can kill your clothing with one drop, or so you may think. Using these techniques, maybe you can save your clothing before it’s too late! Place your glued item of clothing in the freezer. As soon as the glue freezes, it should peel right off. If any glue gets stuck in the fibers of the clothing, just place a piece of wax paper over the spot of glue and iron it as you would an iron-on design, making sure your iron is set to its highest setting (usually cotton or wool). If you don’t have wax paper, you could try a brown paper bag, an old pillowcase, or even a few pieces of paper towel. Acetone nail polish can get rid of Crazy Glue. You can find that anywhere that they sell cosmetics. A product like Goo Gone should get rid of it. You can find Goo Gone at Lowe’s or another hardware store.
