How Do You Remove Hard Water Stains From A Windshield?
Hard water spots occur when the minerals in a drop of water concentrate and then the water around them evaporates, leaving the minerals behind. These spots can occur on any surface, but are most noticeable on glass. One of the worst places to have these spots is on a windshield where they can can make visibility difficult and can make your car look dirty. Hard water spots can be cleaned up in just a few steps. Mix two parts distilled water with one part white vinegar in a bucket. Place a rag in the solution. Let the rag sit in the vinegar solution for a few minutes and then place it directly on the spots on the windshield. Let the rag sit on the spots for five to six minutes. Rub the windshield lightly with the rag. If the hard water spot doesn’t initially come off, repeat the steps until the windshield is clean.
