How Do You Remove Hard Water Spots From Windows?

0

Automatic sprinklers are a great way to water lawns. At least, if there isn’t a window near the sprinkler’s reach. In that case, over time the window can become stained with hard water spots. Step 1 Mix equal parts warm water and white vinegar in a bucket. This isn’t an exact mixture. Use a little more vinegar if the hard water build up is severe, or a little less if it is light. Step 2 Wet the rag in the solution. You will want to ring out some of the water, but the rag should remain fairly wet, just not dripping. (You can use a sponge instead of a rag.) Step 3 Use the wet rag to clean the window. Some stubborn hard water build ups will take several washings. Step 4 After you remove the build up, you can rinse and squeegee all the water off the glass windows, or use your regular window washing routine. Dry window with squeegee when you are finished washing.
