How Do You Remove Hard Water Deposits Off Of Sinks And Toilet Bowls?

0

Many communities have water that leaves deposits of lime and other minerals on and around sinks, bathtubs and shower fixtures. The deposits are unattractive and can be hard to remove. Although there are several chemicals that can be purchased to remove lime and hard water stains, there is also an environmentally safe way to remove the deposits. Pour the cola over the sink or tub area where the hard water and lime deposits have collected. Saturate your sponge with cola and apply it to the inside of your toilet bowl where the hard water deposits have collected. Do this several times. Use the sponge to apply the cola to the faucets themselves. Let the cola sit for a ½ to 1 hour. Use the pumice stone to scrub away the loosened deposits. The pumice stone will not scratch the sink, tub or toilet surfaces. Do not scrub too hard. You may need to reapply the cola several times to remove all of the deposits.
