• Remove gum from a car’s interior as soon as you discover it. Waiting will only make the job more difficult. • Use ice to harden gum on the interior fabric of your car. • Rest the ice cube on the gum for about 2 or 3 minutes and allow the gum to get cold. • Carefully scrape the gum away from the interior with a dull tool or knife. • Pour a little lighter fluid on a paper towel and gently wipe the gum off the fabric interior of your car. You may have to repeat this process until there are no more traces of the gum. • Erase the gum off your car’s leather interior. Use a white eraser, eliminating the chance of transferring color from the eraser to the leather interior. • Try duct tape. This method works great in removing gum from both fabric and leather car interiors. • Stick the duct tape to the smeared gum and pull.
