The constant dripping of water deposits tiny copper particles and as copper oxidizes, it turns green. The mysterious green stains on your cast iron bathtubs are really copper stains. Measure 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar and put it in a small bowl. Cream of tartar can be found in the spice aisle of a grocery store. Slowly add hydrogen peroxide to the cream of tartar and mix to form a thin paste. Apply the paste to the green stains on your cast iron bathtub. Allow the paste to sit overnight. Wet a nylon scrubber with plain
