Be sure to completely cover the stain. Allow it to saturate for at least 20 minutes. Rub dish soap on top of the WD-40 and then rinse the area well under cool running water. Apply more dish soap and launder as usual. Make a paste of equal parts water and powdered laundry detergent and rub it into the stain with a soft clean cloth. Launder as usual.
