How Do You Remove Grease Or Oil, Among Others From Concrete Floor?

Ever have an oil spill or nasty crud on concrete? Here’s a simple solution that caught me off guard–Kitty litter! Using a simple item and a very simple method, you can prevent slips in the garage, home, or sidewalk! First, clean up the loose impediments on the surface (excess water, oil, etc.). The only thing left on surface is the spill material itself. Go ahead and sprinkle cat litter around the outside of the source. Use a liberal amount. Do not pour directly on the surface. This can spread the spill, creating a larger mess! Work the cat litter into the center of the spill, using circular motions. If more litter is needed, be sure to add from the outside of the source. Continue working the litter/source mix towards the middle. Finally, sweep the spill up using the broom and dust pan. If any small residue is left, repeat either using the litter or a simple degreaser works best. Most spills will pull out of the pores in the concrete.
