How Do You Remove Grass Stains From Concrete?
While we generally think of grass stains on the knees of kids’ clothes or the sides of our shoes, concrete is susceptible to grass stains as well. Grass on shoes, car or bike tires and even the paws of dogs and cats can stain concrete. Removing the grass stains from concrete will make for a more attractive surface. Sweep any loose grass, dirt or debris from the concrete surface. Mix 1/4 cup of laundry detergent into a bucket filled with a gallon of water. Pour some of the soapy water directly onto the grass-stained area of the concrete. Scrub the stained area with a stiff scrub brush. Apply force while scrubbing. If the grass-stained area covers a large surface, you may need to use a broom with stiff bristles. Continue scrubbing, adding laundry detergent directly to the stain if needed, until the grass stain is removed from the concrete. Rinse the area clean with plain water and allow it to dry.
