How Do You Remove Google Toolbar From Windows Internet Explorer?

0

The Google toolbar can be handy in Windows Internet Explorer, but if you have a favorite toolbar installed also, you may want to remove the Google toolbar if you don’t use it often. Removing the Google toolbar from Internet Explorer is a simple task that can be accomplished in a short amount of time. Once removed, you will have more display space in the Internet Explorer browser window. Open Windows Internet Explorer on your computer. You do not need to be online to do so. Click on “View” on the text menu at the top of the screen. Click on “Toolbars” and then click on the “Lock the toolbars” option if it is checked. Click on “Toolbars” a second time and click on “Google Toolbar.” This will remove the check mark next to the Google toolbar. Click on “Toolbars” and click the option to lock the toolbars. Close Windows Internet Explorer. When you reopen the browser, Google toolbar will no longer be displayed on the screen.
