Apply the nail polish remover to the adhesive. Soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover and press it on the area with the adhesive so that the adhesive is fully saturated. Hold the saturated cotton ball in place for about a minute. Do not remove it from the surface or the nail polish remover will quickly evaporate.
