Getting gum caught in their hair is one thing but when a child gets glue all over their hair, that’s a big mess. At the time, it may seem like the only option is to cut the child’s hair, but there is another option. It does take some time, but it works. You can remove the glue yourself using two combs, rubbing alcohol and a deep cleaning conditioner. If the glue is dry, wet the hair and use a narrow-toothed comb that has been coated in conditioner in order to comb through the glue. Comb the hair from scalp to ends in small sections. Clip up the sections that have already been combed and cleaned in order to prevent the glue from getting on that section again. Add rubbing alcohol to the glue to deactivate it and soften it up.
