How Do You Remove Glue From A Floor?

0

Glue that’s stuck to your floor can be an unsightly inconvenience. Here’s a quick and easy way to completely remove a sticky mess for good. Scrape off as much of the glue as you can using a putty knife or similar tool. Don’t damage the floor by using too much force. Apply paint remover (or a similar kind of solvent) to a rag and begin working it into the affected floor area. Before working with the solvent, open doors and windows for ventilation. If you are working in an area with limited ventilation, place fans in the corners of the room to blow away the fumes. Allow the solvent to completely saturate the glue, and then scrape off the rest with the putty knife. Although timing will vary, it should take about 30 minutes for the solvent to penetrate the glue.
