How Do You Remove Fruit Punch Stains?

While delicious to drink, fruit punch can become quite a headache if spilled on clothing, furniture or onto the carpet. Once it sets, it will be tough to remove, but if you act quickly enough, and with the proper technique, lifting a fruit punch stain is relatively easy. Spray the affected area with a commercial spot cleaner. Some examples of commercial spot cleaners include R2X Stain Remover or Spot Shot. If a commercial spot cleaner is not on hand, put some dish soap on a damp rag and gently pat the affected area. Gently pat the stained area with a damp rag. Do not rub or scrub the area, because this could cause the stain to set in deeper. Apply gentle pressure to the stain using a damp rag and let the rag, along with the spot cleaner or dish soap, soak up the stain. Rinse the affected area with cold water. Allow to dry. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 if the stain persists.
