Wipe down the entire area with a paper towel and the glass cleaner to remove dust, grime or cobwebs that will complicate the process. Apply a liberal amount of the oil-based adhesive remover to the epoxy glue. Depending on the structure of the container, you may need to pour some on a rag and wipe it on or you may be able to squirt it on. Leave your gloves on from this point forward to protect your hands from irritating liquids. Let the adhesive remover sit on the epoxy for about 5 minutes. It should begin to soften up the hard mass.
