Dry erase boards are the modern-day chalk board. They are used in schools and in offices for lectures or presentations. Special markers can be used to write on the white surface. If you have applied electrical tape to your dry erase board, or have purchased a used dry erase board that has electrical tape on it, you can easily remove the tape and residue from the board and have the surface be as good as new. Remove the electrical tape carefully. Most electrical tape will come off without any problems. If you find it difficult to remove the tape, use a hair dryer on a low setting to warm the tape and soften the adhesive. The tape will come up very easily after it has been heated. Apply oil to the dry erase board with one of the cotton cloths. For the sake of your health and safety, use a food-grade edible oil without propellants. Coconut oil is probably easiest because it is thick and creamy, but any vegetable or nut oil is acceptable. Rub the oil into every surface of the sticky residue
