How Do You Remove Egg Stains From Fabric?
• Scrape off as much of the egg stain as you can. Use a paper towel or even a spatula to help. • Dip a clean dish cloth in warm water. Sponge off as much of the rest of the stain as possible. It is really important that the water is warm and not hot because hot water sets egg. • Check to see if the stain has been removed. If not, make a paste from water and cream of tartar. Mix in one crushed aspirin. • Apply this paste the egg stain and leave to set for half an hour. • Rinse off the paste in warm water. The stain should be gone. • Repeat if needed. Wash and dry the fabric item or garment as usual.
