How do you remove dry cement off concrete floor?
I don’t mean to be rude to you or the last post but both of you are saying something that does not make sense. First, the main ingredient in concrete is cement. So when you say dry cement on top of concrete its kind of like saying the concrete on top of the concrete or the cement on top of the cement. I think I understand what you are describing though. As for the person who said to use sugar. I sell chemicals to concrete companies that go in the concrete to give it different performances. Sugar is an ingredient in some of our chemicals. Sugar will slow the chemical reaction of the cement particles which forms ettringite. Ettringite is the crystallization that forms that bonds cement particles together. Sugar causes a coating to occur over the particle which retards the process. Too much sugar and the concrete will never set. But introducing sugar after this process has already happened…nothing. I would recommend you have someone sandblast that top layer off. Then apply a concrete se
